• day 11

We didn't take too many pictures today! I guess we had too much to do!

Today we started by painting the ceiling of the walk through area. We had to wait 4 hours between each coat. The open pocket door area was textured the day before so it was now time to paint it white. After the pocket door I moved to painting the yellow trim in the kitchen. It seemed to take for-ev-er but looked great. Max (Gina's fiancé) stopped by to help out today. While I worked on the yellow trim David and Max strung a new wire from the center of the master bedroom ceiling - for our fan - down to the existing wire by the outlet. The boys were busy for a while cutting holes and making lots of noise!

Instead of watching the paint dry David and I left for a little lunch. Max had already left a bit earlier. Once we got back it was time to paint a second coat of yellow on the walls, ceiling, and open pocket door. David painted the second coat of yellow trim at the same time. Finally the kitchen was painted and ready for cabinets!

We weren't done for the night just yet! David and I went upstairs to hang the crossbar and electrical box for the fan and patch the holes made in the ceiling and wall. Finally it was time to call it a night!
